While ago, arching-kaos.net had an important update on its interface. It’s somehow more clear to navigate but, still, there is a huge room for improvements. Its best feature, though, is that the data is fetched directly from the network.
Considering this as key point of the purpose of the project, the progress from “having nothing” to “having something”, shifted the focus from the web part of things to the mechanics of the project.
One could argue that a JSON array of blocks chained together is a relatively easy thing to put your hands on, since it’s a standard object. You can retrieve it, parse it, verify it, reference it. You can’t change it though. Your changes will be a completely different block with new check-sums and the rest of shenanigans. So, then it’s not so easy to work with after the publishing it.
